Heavy Rain
Quantic Dream has a penchant for delivering complex narrative dramas that would keep you glued to the screen for hours on end, and 2010’s Heavy Rain is no different in this regard. The story revolves around Ethan and his quest to overcome the trials and tribulations set by the Origami Killer, and that journey is punctuated with some genuinely emotional moments and thrilling set-piece sequences. Of course, the narrative will change depending on your actions which can shift the ending to a completely different tangent altogether. Despite its age, Heavy Rain still looks good to this date – and holds up surprisingly well due to its simplistic gameplay mechanics.
