No Magical Characters
Again, going along with the more realistic approach (sure, say that to that fantastical Mesmenir beast), characters in the party will not have magical powers of their own. The MP meter for characters will be used for special moves rather than magic, interestingly enough. So will magic appear in the final version of the game at all? If so, it may be a little outside of the usual Final Fantasy standard.
