Wii would like to play. Nintendo kicked off a veritable Motion Control revolution with that pitch and an easy to pick up controller that anybody could be familiar with, because it translated everyday actions into game commands. The gold rush that came after, burying the Wii in cheap shovelware, the PlayStation Move and the above mentioned Kinect oversaturated the market, and made motion controls a little bit passé. They are enjoying a bit of a resurgence while matched with Virtual Reality tech, but they remain relegated to aiming Link’s bow today.
