STAR WARS: EMPIRE AT WAR (PC)
Star Wars and strategy games isn’t as strange of a combination as you think- Galactic Battlegrounds, for example, had already brought us an Age of Empires-esque experience a few years back. Empire at War was a more modern take on the RTS genre, with specific emphasis placed on the combat and unit tactics. Empire at War featured two different kinds of take on the RTS genre, with space battles and land based battles. It was deep, nuanced, and really, a great strategy game regardless- the Star Wars skin was just a bonus.
