STAR WARS: JEDI STARFIGHTER (PS2/XBOX)
The continuation of the Starfighter games, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter also served as a sort of tie in to Attack of the Clones. The fact that it is straddled with the most infamous and terrible Star Wars movie shouldn’t bug you, however- it was still a fun game to play, which brought some unique twists to the table with its Force weapons. There is no denying that the general formula was starting to show its age by then- between the continuing Rogue Squadron series and this one, as well as one off games like Battle for Naboo, we’d simply had too many similar games in too short a period of time. But hey, this far away from the original release, the law of diminishing returns no longer applies. Play it for yourself, you’ll find it to be a surprisingly competent game. It’s available on PSN on PS3 as a PS2 Classic.
