Cosmetics Obsession
There was a point before Gamescom when PUBG generated controversy over cosmetics in loot boxes. Cosmetics are also fairly standard in a game like Fortnite: Battle Royale especially with the recent Battle Pass that grants some snazzy outfits immediately. The question is – why is everyone so obsessed with looking good when it’s a matter of life and death? Especially in PUBG when you’re going to pick up other clothes anyway? Even if we were battle-hardened combatants stuck in this never-ending purgatory of Last Man Standing, the last thing we’d think about is whether that shirt really matches with those jeans or not.
