Super Mario Galaxy 2 – Throwback Galaxy
Even within the furthest reaches of the Galaxy, sometimes we needs that comforting reminder of more simple times. Super Mario Galaxy 2 reintroduces us to a familiar playground with the Throwback Galaxy, a reimagined and expanded version of Whomp’s Fortress from Super Mario 64 that lingers just long enough to still be interested. Throwback Galaxy allows us to soak in the nostalgia just long enough, before the game will begin throwing curveballs before you’ve even grabbed that first star by introducing a second round with the Whomp King, before the level really opens up with further goals making great use of the Cloud Flower.
