If you’re looking for hyper-realism and technically stunning visuals, you’re not going to find here. Metroid Dread’s visuals are concerned with doing that. What they are doing is creating incredible atmosphere, which, after all, is paramount in any Metroid game. Some of the environments look absolutely stunning, the EMMI robots sport great designs, Samus’ own suit looks slick- though it might not be the most technically impressive game we saw at E3 2021, Metroid Dread looks great in its own way- enough to catch your attention.
