Berserk Mode – NieR: Automata
YoRHa models like 2B have Self-Destruct, which create a wave of destruction at the cost of leaving her vulnerable for a period of time. A2, on the other hand, had Berserk Mode. Damage dealt and received are both increased while A2’s health drains – this can be reduced by using weapons and chips that return health on hit or constantly spamming healing items. In this way, it’s possible to have an insane, near-endless Berserk mode for some of the tougher challenges in the game (though she’ll still fall into a weakened state when Berserk ends).
