INFILTRATING OUTER HAVEN (GUNS OF THE PATRIOTS)
The final hours of Metal Gear Solid 4 were some of the most emotionally draining we’ve ever experienced in a game, as the climax started building up and things started coming to a head, and when Snake began his infiltration of Outer Heaven, things really kicked into gear. Everything after that is just pure stealth and storytelling bliss. Tensions are running high, the stakes are even higher, there’s some excellent level design and stealth gameplay to be had- and, of course, who could forget the microwave scene?
