Sonic Mania Plus
The game that kickstarted the Blue Blur’s resurgence, Sonic Mania repurposes levels from Sonic’s Sega Genesis heyday, rehashing and remixing whilst creating a handful of new ones to boot and the result is arguably the best Sonic the Hedgehog game of the modern era. What it lacks in originality Sonic Mania makes up for in faithful recreation, with music and presentation straight out of the 1990s. Sonic Mania Plus expands the title with the new versus game mode Encore plus a pinball bonus stage and two additional characters Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel.
