THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK: ESCAPE FROM BUTCHER BAY

It’s rare to see a genuinely good movie tie-in video game, but Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay defied that convention in the most dramatic way possible. From its excellent voice acting and what were at the time ground-breaking visuals to its excellent blend of shooting, melee combat, and stealth sections, Escape From Butcher Bay was a thrilling ride from start to finish. Did it have issues? Of course it did- the game wasn’t without bugs, for one, while its shooting mechanics also could have been significantly better. Regardless, in the end, those flaws did little to take away from hat was otherwise a very memorable experience.
