GUNPOINT
Gunpoint isn’t a very long game, nor is it a very mainstream title, but those who’ve played it will definitely see why it deserves a spot in this list. It’s simplistic, but brilliantly so, offering a unique and addictive take on stealth, which feels more like puzzle solving than anything else. It’s short length is definitely an issue, but even in such a short duration, Gunpoint leaves a lasting impact on its players. With excellent writing, tight gameplay, and a narrative that is genuinely interesting are some of its greatest strengths, and the excellent music and a great level editor are the cherries on top of the sundae.
