The Plucky Squire
The Plucky Squire starts unassumingly enough, but it’s not long before it ventures across multiple art styles (in the 2D and 3D space) and genres. The puzzle-solving also tends to get meta, especially as Jot goes off the page, but amid all this is a solid tale of heroes, their importance in stories, and recognizing one’s worth. Solid combat and puzzle mechanics combined with an incredible art style ensured that The Plucky Squire stood out in a packed year.
