There have been multiple hints about a possible revival of the beloved Crash Bandicoot franchise over the last few years, one of the most prominent being the easter egg in the recently released Uncharted 4. There is a complication, however- Sony no longer owns Crash Bandicoot, and the franchise is owned by Activision. The two companies, however, have grown into a friendship recently, especially after Destiny, so there remains a possibility that Crash Bandicoot might be revived as a PlayStation exclusive, even if the exclusivity is timed rather than permanent.
