AVALANCHE’S INSIDE MAN
Being a much larger group, Avalanche now also have a lot more resources to work with. That also means they have spies within Shinra itself- one such inside man is Mayor Domino himself. Domino was in the original game, but had a very minor role. In the remake, his role is still pretty minor, but him being an inside man for Avalanche is a completely new element in the story- though we was disillusioned with Shinra in the original FF7 as well, he was never outright working against them as an Avalanche member.
