Bridge Keeper – Fallout 2
In Fallout 2, there are random special encounters that can occur depending on the circumstances. The one with the highest probability is the Bridge Keeper who’s guarding a rope bridge over a chasm. He asks three questions, the first two about your name and quest. It’s the third where things get interesting because if you answer it wrong, you die. Alternatively, asking the Bridge Keeper’s name will cause him to die. Fighting the Bridge Keeper is also possible, netting you 7500 XP but also a loss of 10 Karma.
