Turok seemingly substitutes demons for dinosaurs, but it further deviates from the Doom formula with puzzles and different traversal options. Make no mistake, though – there’s ample amounts of gore and the sheer range of weaponry allowed for some vicious battles. Once again, the remaster from Nightdive Studios is the best way to experience it, thanks to graphical improvements and higher resolution support. Even better is that a recent update added the Brachiosaurus from the Turok beta that never made it to the full game.
