Turbo Overkill
When a game lets you control someone named Johnny Nitro with a chainsaw for a leg, you know it will be special. Taking on a job to battle a rogue AI, which has possessed his home city, Johnny rushes through Blade Runner-esque environments and slays out. Beyond the retro-like aesthetic, the weapons are exceptional, from the tried and true Boomer Shotgun to the Telefragger sniper rifle. Throw in wall-running, augments, a grappling hook, and even riding on flying cars, and you have an adrenaline rush that’s difficult to put down.
