Metro 2033 Redux
A key ingredient to Metro 2033’s success is its world building, told throughout the dimly lit subterranean labyrinth of the Moscow Metro system. Coming four years later, Metro 2033 Redux revamped the game’s graphics via improved lighting and character animations whilst adding particle effects and dynamic weather, and result was a thoroughly atmospheric experience, more so than many of its contemporary FPS titles. The game’s cinematic set-pieces are expertly choreographed too, with a timeless story of struggle against the odds portrayed superbly via a courageous band of survivors.
