Shadow of the Tomb Raider
2018’s Shadow of the Tomb Raider was renowned for its cinematic prowess, and whilst it was criticised for is lack of gameplay innovation its actor performances and motion capture were second to none. As we’ve seen on numerous games on this rundown so far, the compositional choices made by the game during exploration and cutscenes deserves plaudits too, grounding Tomb Raider’s high-fantasy concepts into something believable and immersive.
