Remember Me

Ironically given its title, Dontnod’s first game is largely forgotten, let down by middling characters, okay-ish combat, and a predictable story which failed to draw a meaningful conclusion on the moral ambiguity of remixing memories. So then, why is Remember Me on a rundown of cinematic single player games? Well, it’s the game’s world design – a futuristic Neo-Paris – portrayed smartly through a series of linear levels which feel more open due to excellent camera work, especially during traversal. For a 2013 game, Remember Me’s graphics still look fantastic too.
