In what is the most cinematic of the trilogy, Max Payne 3’s incredible production value combines with the most intense shooting of the entire series whilst a gripping tale of redemption worthy of Hollywood is performed superbly through a raft of smartly constructed stages. The game’s story is told through an abundance of excellent cutscenes but, as aforementioned with The Order: 1886, there’re times control is too-often taken away from the player to convey Max Payne 3’s narrative.
