Clock Tower

Clock Tower

While other developers found inspiration from the works of David Lynch, George Romero and what have you, Human Entertainment’s Clock Tower turned to Dario Argento’s Phenomena. A point and click side scroller with 2D graphics, it saw protagonist Jennifer Simpson attempting to survive against the vicious Scissorman. The latter could appear almost anywhere and hiding – or using traps – was key. With a terrifying atmosphere, it quickly made a name for itself in the survival horror genre despite being fairly underrated today.
