Slender Man: The Arrival – Creepy Forest
Slender Man: The Arrival goes to show that it doesn’t take a lot of money to get the most scares out of gamers. This indie developed game has more sheer frightening moments of scares in its entire hour-long gameplay than most have in 20 hours. We have to give it to the creepy forest near the beginning of the game, however, as the most frightening place to visit in Slender Man. The woods at night, as everyone knows, are never the first place anyone wants to visit. Add to that cackling, howling creatures that go bump in the night; abandoned facilities, lost notes, and eerie lights shining in the distance to really bring out shivers, chills and goosebumps even before Slender Man himself can find us.
