So Jynx is an Ice/Psychic type who’s overall look is inspired by Ganguro culture. This is the Japanese trend of wearing lots of make-up, overtly flashy clothes and having blond hair. However, those who practise the trend, who are labelled yamanba, are meant to reference the Yama-uba who like luring travellers to their cabins in the mountains to eat them.
