Ionut Savin was addicted like so many others to playing Counter-Strike online when he was fifteen years old, but this addiction led to some horrendous actions. Due to his addiction, his social life was nonexistent, and he had missed over 200 days of school. His mother decided to take action and cut off the internet connection. Savin, in a fit of rage, stabbed her seventeen times, killing her, then stole all her money, went to an internet cafe and played the game for four more hours.
