General Deathshead – Wolfenstein: The New Order
A triumphant reboot renowned for its hyper-violence harbours a few moments of gruesome horror, most notably in General Deathshead’s sickening contraption to rip a person’s back open, drill a hole in their skull, and suck out their brain – all whilst they’re still alive. In command of BJ Blazkowicz you’re forced to choose which one of your comrades gets subjected to this most stomach churning of demises. It’s one of those moments which, once you’ve seen it, you can’t unsee it.
