2. The Community
The Battlefield community has changed radically since BF 4 happened. It has become awry. Largely the changed game mechanics are responsible for this. With the CoD-esque fast paced gameplay, a lot of CoD players had a move to Battlefield and tactics – something that Battlefield has always stood for – took a back seat. The community somehow feels more of a swearing bunch of troglodytes who need 7 minutes of fun . The Battlefield community till before was always treated as a more level headed community. Mature if you may.
That’s not to say that the other game communities are filled with hormonally imbalanced teens shouting as to when will the pimples go away, but just that the Battlefield community was a little different and the players more used to tact. It’s tacit that DICE really needs to take care of the gameplay because it has severely impacted the community.
