Along with titles like Thief and Metal Gear Solid, Splinter Cell pretty much shaped the stealth genre as we know it. There hasn’t been a sequel since Splinter Cell Blacklist in 2013 but with rumours constantly coming and going, surely something has to give? Here are 15 things we’d like to see in the next Splinter Cell if and when it finally arrives.
Oftentimes, we see Ubisoft games existing separately from each other with vague indications of their relations. That’s changed in the past year or so with Ghost Recon Wildlands crossing over with other franchises. So why not just roll with it? Have the next Splinter Cell take place in a post-apocalyptic setting and follow events from Sam’s perspective.
