Destiny:

Bungie’s new, futuristic shooter has a whole lot of people interested in what’s to come. This game is certainly blurring the lines of single player, multiplayer and cooperative experiences. Bungie is looking to take advantage of this new generation of hardware, and they’ve really got some fresh, next generation ideas to go with it.

This world of the future has plenty of technology as well as magic, or what could be described as magic. Destiny is definitely a big leap from the Halo franchise they started so long ago. Despite this though, the art direction definitely has firm influences in the Halo design. The futuristic, technology and exo-armor that our characters wear are not too far off from what we’d expect Master Chief to be rocking on the battlefield. Despite this, from what we’ve seen of the game it’s got it’s own feel and world, and with a tiny bit of luck and a whole lot of the right decisions it will probably have its own huge following as we move into a new era of gaming.
