Grinding
Japanese games seem to be more cruel than most others. This next one takes place in a lot of older and sometimes new RPGs. Grinding is a tedious, boring, and relentless task. It usually occurs when the player can not get past a certain point in the game because a boss or enemy is too strong to defeat. Forcing the player to go out and find smaller enemies to fight to level up his or her character to become stronger. Fighting enemy after enemy becomes a grind and even on some newer RPGs some players are forced to grind for hours!! It’s cruel and unusual punishment to make players kill the same enemies for hours on end just to get past the next area. This needs to stop.
