There’s been a litany of games that have added PS5 Pro enhancements since the console’s launch earlier this month, but one of the most well-supported games in recent years – especially on the single-player side of things – won’t be receiving any such upgrades, at least for the foreseeable future.

Cyberpunk 2077 has transformed into one of the best and most visually and technically impressive games available on current-gen consoles, but developer CD Projekt RED doesn’t intend to enhance the game for the PS5 Pro. Responding to a question about the same on Twitter, the studio wrote, “We currently have no plans for [a] PS5 Pro patch.”

CD Projekt RED confirmed earlier this year that it had virtually ended all support for Cyberpunk 2077, with the many different teams at the company now focusing on other projects, including The Witcher 4 and the sequel to Cyberpunk. Prior to that, game director Gabe Amatangelo stated that work on the game was “done”, barring minor updates here and there.

A patch in September added support for FSR 3 with Frame Generation on PC, while the game is also set to launch for Mac next year.
