A more important aspect within the last gen and currently being implemented into this gen are stealth mechanics. Hiding behind boxes or in the feathery fur of Trico could be a nice added bonus. I, for one, am not a big fan of stealth games, but adding a touch here and there in a game about a boy trying to avoid danger seems somewhat appropriate.
