NEXT 3D MARIO
We’d be shocked if this didn’t end up getting announced this year. Hell, it could even be announced this month. Nintendo is gearing up to release the Switch 2 in the coming months, and the console is bound to release with a major first-party launch title- and a new 3D Mario game seems dead-on to be that game. After all, it’s been eight long years since Super Mario Odyssey came out, and a new 3D Mario platformer would be exactly the sort of Big Huge Deal™ launch title that could rival what Nintendo had on offer with the Switch in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
