Yes, even the Metal Gear series is guilty from taking inspiration in its assets (to say nothing of the character and storyline which bears many similarities to Escape from LA/New York). The box cover for the original Metal Gear is interesting because Snake almost perfectly resembles Kyle Reese, of all people, from Terminator, right down to the face paint. Imitation, flattery and all that nonsense.
