For all the critical acclaim the series gets, it’s not like Visual Concepts’ NBA 2K series is always the most optimized. NBA 2K17, in fact, was plagued with long loading times at launch. Some noted it took almost 5 minutes to load a court in myCareer, followed by 5 minute loading times for heading to a park or another friend’s court.
