NEXT NEED FOR SPEED
Even if EA were attending E3 2021, Need for Speed’s next game wouldn’t be shown off (and neither will it be announced at EA Play Live). While development on the game had started under Criterion last year, EA recently confirmed that the game had been delayed, with development put on hold so that Criterion could focus on providing assistance for Battlefield 6’s development. With the racer no longer scheduled for 2021, it seems highly unlikely that it’ll be announced this year either.
