Death Stranding
Death Stranding doesn’t really feature many destructible environments or notable physics interactions, but it certainly deserves a place on this list for its detailed terrain deformations. You see, BT explosions can create huge craters in the environment which actually alter the geometry in real time. In a similar vein, trudging through thick snow slows you down by a considerable margin and leaves behind deformed trails. Of course, it’s a game that’s entirely based around navigation so it makes complete sense to include such physics driven interactions in the environment itself.
