Gears Of War – Mad World Trailer
While Microsoft’s Xbox 360 had its fair share of problems (looking at you: Red Ring of Death), it was home to some of the best IPs that have come to define the Xbox platform such as the likes of Forza Horizon and Gears of War. The latter’s most iconic and graphically jaw-dropping moment has to be its Mad World trailer, which showcases protagonist Marcus Phoenix running around the dystopian environments in a last-ditch effort to save humanity from the Locusts. Of course, a lot of this trailer’s appeal can be credited to the incredibly somber and melancholic tunes of Mad World by Gary Jules. This trailer is so iconic and paramount to the game’s immediate success that The Coalition remade the entire trailer ahead of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition‘s release in 2015.
