Though Before The Storm’s direction seems evident, the original Life is Strange was rife with mystery. Max Caulfield awakens in class after dreaming of a cyclone threatening to wipe out Arcadia Bay. Suddenly, she gains time manipulation powers, saves her best friend Chloe – who she hasn’t seen in years – and embarks on a journey to unravel the town’s deepest secrets. Missing girls, shady individuals, murder and whatnot may be involved but it’s part of the heartbreak…er, fun. Yes, fun.
