When Lara Croft – that is, a younger Lara who’s still pretty innocent – arrives on the island of Yamatai, everything goes wrong pretty much immediately. People are dead. Ships are crashed and there’s a fair amount of savage but heavily armed men out to get her. Lara not only has to save her friends but also figure out the mystery of the forgotten kingdom and its queen Himiko. There’s a fair degree of platforming and exploration as Lara wades through dead warriors, Nazi expedition findings and much more.
