Okay, forget for a second that the purpose of the first Borderlands – and every title in the series after that – was to find better loot. When we first arrived on Pandora, there was a tangible mystery in the air. As the Vault Key fragments began to gather, the desire to unlock the Vault and plunder its secrets was palpable. Of course, the result wasn’t as satisfying but hey, it motivated us enough to keep killing stuff!
