14. Grey Goo

Developers come up with concepts all the time, but sometimes they go a tad too far. In Grey Goo, you control a giant puddle of Grey Goo; the game integrates strategy elements and as you progress through the game, you can split the Goo puddle into multiple minion goo balls to carry out various tasks and tap resources spread throughout the game’s world.

The game has other playable races too but it doesn’t do any good. While the effort is appreciated, this game is downright weird.
