5. Modern Warfare 2 – Cliffhanger
Ice levels are quite fun in platformers, but when it comes to FPS games, the impact of having a level set in the heart of winters means that a lot of things now affect the players, and most of all, the visibility.
CoD MW2’s Cliffhanger mission beautifully fulfills the desire of a stealth mission; for a while. With a huge snowstorm covering your tracks and blinding you bnesides, you have an uber cool heart sensor gun at your disposal to take out your enemies silently.
This was truly one of the best snow levels that modern FPS’ have been able to give to the players.
