HEAVY RAIN

Given the kind of game Heavy Rain is, there’s every possibility that by the time it comes to an end, everything’s gone horribly, horribly wrong. If you do things right, though, you might end up with a deservedly happy ending. I mean, sure, no matter what you do, the cloud of Jason’s death still hangs over Ethan’s head- but Shaun is saved, Ethan starts a new life with Madison, Norman decides to deal with his addiction, and the Origami Killer’s exploits are brought to a stop. Surprisingly wholesome for a game as relentlessly depressing as this one.
