EMERALD WEAPON (FINAL FANTASY 7)
The Emerald Weapon is the poster-boy for daunting, nearly-impossible boss fights in classic old-school RPGs. If its arsenal of multiple attacks that can knock our your entire party in one hit isn’t enough for you, the fact that it’s got a whopping 1 million HP will surely give you pause, and if that isn’t enough for you either, you also have to take it down within a time limit of 20 minutes (unless you have the Underwater Materia). It’s not only a test of skill and preparation, it’s also a test of patience.
