SONIC
Sonic’s skills as a swimmer tend to vary from game to game. Sometimes he can swim, but can’t get back out very well due to losing all his speed underwater. Sometimes, he dies as soon as he touches water, even if its ridiculously shallow. Occasionally, he has no issues with swimming. But for the vast majority of his appearances in games, Sonic has, for some reason or the other, no fared very well when faced with the task of swimming.
