FIX THE SIDE-QUESTS
Quick question- do you remember any side quest from Persona 3 or 4? No? Did you even remember they had side quests? No? So it’s not just me then. Persona side quests in recent years almost always boil down to “go get me this item”. Not only are they astoundingly unimaginative, they’re never fun to play through and the game doesn’t even reward you with anything even slightly remarkable once you complete them. You can be easily excused for forgetting that P3 and P4 even had any side quests- in fact, that’s how most people played the two games, without ever touching any of the side quests. Being one of the frontrunners of the JRPG genre, we expect Persona to have at least decent side quests, and we’re hoping Persona 5 will succeed here where the previous two entries failed so miserably.
