Final Fantasy 7 featured a range of different mini-games in the Gold Saucer which served as decent diversions for the player and a nice place to take Tifa or Aeris for a date (less so for Barret). Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn ups that significantly with the Manderville Gold Saucer that features Chocobo Racing, Triple Triad, Lord of Verminion, Monster Toss and different GATEs taking place every 15 to 45 minutes.
